Alpine Inn & Spa

The hotel itself is very old, but exceptionally clean. We needed to sleep 6, so picked this hotel because it would do the trick. We didn't expect a separate room for one of the queen beds, which was really a nice surprise. Additionally, we didn't expect a kitchen, which was also nice. It was located just off the main road running through downtown South Lake Tahoe, so very convenient.

We loved the convenience of the location. We walked to/from dinner and drinks. The staff was friendly and our rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s a good value for a basic hotel room.

We got the room with the spa tub, which was great after a long and hard day. Very large tub where I was able to stretch out comfortably and watch TV. Price was great. Was worried I wouldn't get my deposit back (always cautious of scams, ya know?) but it came back to my account the day after we left. Good for traveling on a budget while also getting a few nice amenities.

It’s perfectly situated. Walking distance to the beach, casinos and restaurants. I got great value for the money spent here. There’s a new management team that seems to take great care in making sure that my stay was a good one.

Honestly, it wasn’t bad at all for the price to me, loved the location minuets walk away from heavenly village and the casinos. The bed was super comfortable! I would definitely return :) it was a great value to me, I’m honestly not picky at all :)
